Women's Specific 29ers! Who makes 'em????

So I'm already starting to think about Abbie's birthday present. (it's in September)  I was working on her 2002 FSR Rockhopper a little this weekend and realized that her bike is beginning to get outdated.  I would love to look into getting her a 29er full bouncy, but so far I haven't actually seen that anyone makes a WSD 29er with full suspension.  Anybody else know of a company that does?

29er... or no 29er... that is the question

To many bikes to choose from.......

Should I make the jump to a 29er? The GF Rumblefish looks nice... or should I pick up a Trance, Fuel, Stumpy type full sus.

All I keep hearing is how 29ers are the best.

I will do the majority of my mountain biking at walking purchase and I have no interest and crazy downhill stuff or hitting 4foot+ jumps.  I just like to zip around the trails.

My current bike is a Hard Tail with 90mm front shock so I am looking to up the suspension a bit.

So all you 29er riders, is this a nobrainer?

Local Embro

I know that most folks who peruse this site aren't necessarily 'in the know' as far as the road and cyclocross world, but there is a product called embrocation that is commonly used to warm up and protect against the elements. Think of it as a warming rub with the added bonus of protection from wind and wet. In any case, there is a new local company producing their own particular brew of cycling rubs and products, so keep it real, keep it local, and check it out. On your next cold and wet ride, you will be glad you did-

Park Tool Tech Summit

I just attended the Park Tool Tech Summit which was an event hosted by Park and a bunch of different manufacturers on how to service their latest equipment. We learned about the newest technology and service on Fox, RockShox, Shimano brakes, SRAM's new XX, Avid Elixers, Hayes and Manitou. Its good to see these companies taking an interest in proper training for shops to be able to help their customers with these new components.
