Just wondering if the berm is on the Sals to do list? It's really looking like it use some love... soon. I can spare some free time on a weekend or weeknight to help out on this, with a group of people it shouldn't take long to get some fresh dirt on it.
Nice job on the new log ride!!!
Has anyone, by any chance found a pair of sunglasses that were lost on the road in Salisbury? They were probably dropped somewhere close to the substation located near the Lehigh River about a week ago? Brown frames, with gold accents on the temples. They are prescription glasses

Rode Sals for the first time in a long time yesterday (it was awesome and dry, but think that this weekend will slop it up again...) and noticed that there is a new trail at the corner of the orange trail directly above St. Lukes / Reeb millwork. It goes down from the corner of the orange towards the rr tracks, with built berms and two built wood bridges (the second a gap jump). When did VMB start building this trail?
Looking to be in the area Wednesday, maybe Thursday, wondering if its realistic to try getting a ride in. Haven't been here before, not sure if it will drain well enough after today's rain, or if it might get frozen enough given the forecast between now and then. Looking for more experienced advice on the matter. Thanks.
Hey team,
The sals trail map is great but does anyone have one with suggested direction or terrain on it?
Cheers,
Andy
Wanna hit Salisbury Saturday 1/16, how are the trails?
FYI: Wissahickon and Belmont in Philly are in top shape, actually a little dry...
I saw this in the Morning Call today. St Lukes is going ahead with building the Brighton st access road from Riverside. Hopefully it won't mess things up too much for the trailhead there. Its important that this trailhead be considered when they finalize the design.
The article states the hospital must seek approval from the various municipalities. Perhaps the bike club could offer some input into this process-showing that this park is an important part of the community.Maybe we could erect another kiosk right at this site.
