Muling over trailbike vs xc racer. I have Giant Anthem 1. I'm pretty sure it's 80mm travel. Been wondering if a trail bike would be more the style I ride, I'm not a racer, more of a bushwacker. Read more!!!!

Iam having a problem with my rear RST22 shock. Twice now while riding the rod that runs from the top of the shock thru the spring has come loose off the swing arm. There is a nut like part it screws into on the swing arm frame I ? you would say. Anybody know what causes this?

Can someone educate me about bike repair stands? Looking to buy one, but don't know what to looking for or what brand is good, all that good stuff. Tired of holding my on the wall or car while I clean the chain or bike.

Looking for a bash guard for my big ring it’s a 42 tooth ring. Does anyone have any suggestions, not looking to take the big ring off. thanks.

Wow. Its been years since I was happy with my ride but I'm finally starting to dig the Stumpjumper.

The biggest thing is that I went back to the clip pedals w/a platform. Shimano 545's I think with the multi angle release cleats. I also recognized that my seat clamp is lame and tends to slip so the seat gets lower over a long ride which really throws everything off.

The Stumpy brain lockout work great. When its activated it acts as a partial lockout on smooth stuff, but lets the shock work on rougher stuff.

So I finally got out and about, took the bike to Jacobsburg last Thursday, so plenty of familiar faces, James, Sarah, and got some sun. It got me thinking though, I bought my Haro last summer, and only did the maintenance I needed to do to keep it on the trail. Now that it is a year old, is there any yearly stuff I need to do. It is fully suspension with mechanical disc brakes. What should I be looking to lube up, or adjust?

ok so i curently have a truativ power spline bb with blaze crankset my left crank arm was bent (when my bike broke in half) i think the pedal is bent too? i found a bargan deal on ebay on TRUVATIV HUSSELFELT ISIS DRIVE CRANKSET(i bought them)it says they are 104MM BCD ?what does this meen and what bottom bracket will work with this. Will a TRUVATIV GIGAPIPE ISIS DH 73 x 113 work

what tires are you running...and are you running tubeless? Whats your setup?

I'm looking to get some tires that are fairly thorn proof. Right now I have a Smoke on the back and a Dart on the front with tubes.

I'm an old school trail/cc rider. My ride is a Giant Anthem. Even if I stay on tame trails, Jacobsburg for example, I still get thorn flats alot. I have tried all kinds of materials to line the tires to no avail. I'm ready to do something more bomb proof.

What are people using around here (Lehigh Valley)?
