What tool do you carry on the trail

I'm thinking about picking up a multi-tool to carry when out on the trail, with so many options I though I would ask u folks what you keep on hand. I see a lot of tools are mostly plastic I'm assuming mostly for weight purposes.
I ride a hard tail just getting started and doing some training for some adventure racing, and off road triathlons. I currently carry a spare tube, small glueless patch kit, a tire tool lever set, and a Gerber multi-tool (to heavy), and a allen wrench set.

Any Suggestions??

Hi all...I've been in the mountain biking world off and on for the past few years, mainly with hardtail bikes...

I've now been looking to upgrade to a full suspension mountain bike, but I'm not looking to break the bank (this may seem a bit contradictory)...

I've had my eye on the Santa Cruz Superlight, but I wanted to see if anyone else had any suggestions for a good, full-suspension bike that won't break the bank!

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Smelly Bladder

No, not that kind of bladder! The CamelBak bladder! So I have a bladder that is 7 years old...no smells due to uncleanliness or bacteria, because I store it in the freezer when not in use (things don't grow in the freezer), but I do notice the smell and taste of plastic much more now. Anyone else have these issues? Are there any ways at ridding this smell/taste? Taste is probably what bothers me more. My guess is that the plastic may just be too old and that it needs replacing.
