Homebrew lights group buy?

Ok, so there has been a fair amount of talk about lights lately. If there is enough interest, I would be willing to spec out and source the correct parts needed to make some very nice homemade LED lights. Basically it would look something like this per light

2 220+ lumen Cree LED's ($20)
2 ledil lenses ($10)
1 'buck puck' driver ($15)
1 11.1 4400mah battery pack ($54)
1 charger ($25)
1 connector wire ($4)
1 tube arctic silver thermal adhesive ($15)

What you would need to take care of-
Housing (this spec would fit nicely into 1" aluminum tubing)
A switch to turn it on/off

Tubeless Conversion

Anyone here done it?

I'm thinking about trying some Stan's rim strips to convert my wheels to tubeless. Just wondering if anyone tried it and how it worked out for you. Burping air doesn't sound like much fun but no more pinch flats sounds great.

This is cracking me up

From Trek's website

"The inverse mullet. It’s party in the front, all business in the back. With a 29" front wheel you get trail bike confidence, and the 26” rear wheel makes it race bike fast. Inspired by Travis Brown."

Need a strong 2.4 tire

Keep getting pinch flats maybe its because i run less than 30 psi but if you run more you don't have any traction? Have tried differant brands of tubes, still keep getting flats and tried downhill tubes which are way to heavy. Don't think i am interested in going the tubeless route, what a mess that is. Looking for a good xc or dh tire that has a strong sidewall so i can run low air pressure that can handle the rocks. What tire do you recommend, don't care how heavy it is.

Newbie looking to upgrade.....

....just recently got back into mtb thanks to Bernie and Bob and am in the market for a full susp bike. Pretty clueless as to whats good/whats not. Currently have a CDale f700 HT but I'm too old to deal with the beating my rear has been taking on it. I have been keeping an eye on Ebay and they have a few that seem to be reasonably priced.

So I'm going to try it at Sal's tomorrow just to confirm what I already know from riding on my trail & bushwack today! OMG did I say it can go over anything!!!! :jawdrop:.... the Anthem days are coming to a close!
