Mountain Biking Weekend Camp-Out at Mt. Allamuchy Scout Reservation

The Mt. Allamuchy Scout Reservation (sight of 24HOA) is in the early stages of planning a weekend Mountain Biking camp out. Event could possibly take place same weekend as the 24HOA. The camp would make sites available to the public and its trails open for riding. There would be group rides for all ages and ability levels. Also, we'd like to arrange a bike repair seminar, skills clinic, and trail building class. We'll be contacting JORBA, the IMBA, VMB, and MTBNJ for advice and to hopefully get their participation in what could make for an amazing weekend mountain biking.

Bethehem chili fest ride Saturday 4/24

Hey, this Saturday 4/24 the Coalition for Appropriate Transportation is instigating an urban bike ride from the northside of Bethlehem to the southside, where the annual chili cook-off is happening.  The flyer says "Costumes and Art Bikes Encouraged."   This is sure to be a silly ride.  (Some of us are doing "Heels on Wheels" to see how high a heel we can sport while riding.  I know you guys are just dying to try this...)   Meet at the CAT/Bethlehem Bike Co-op at 14 W. Raspberry Street (near Broad and New Sts) at 11 a.m.
