Rides

If anyone is interested, I've got a potential funpass I can use for this Tuesday and could lead a ride a Trexler.

Trexler is in desperate need on Knobbies on the ground so you can clear some guilty feelings by thinking of this as a bit of a workday, not just a technical blast in the woods.

I could be at the trail head as early as 4 and can stay out until about 6:30 or so.  I can peel off if the group stays out longer.

any takers?  Prefered start time??

I was thinking about hitting the tow path from my house around 10am. Maybe ride 30 miles down towards lambertville. No rain till late in the afternoon. Let me know if your interested.

Anyone up for a saturday morning ride? Maybe at a new place or a place less ridden.. well at least by me. I've never ridden bear creek, glenn park, the mooch is always a winner and well a bunch others. Not looking to drive a great distance... Any takers/ suggestions?

I was up around there the last few days and a lot of folks have put in a ton of work (I'm mean a real lot) - the place is no where perfect but there is certainly a ridable line.  We peddled around and one loop took us about 1 hour or so.

If we can get a group together, i'd be happy to try and lead - I also want to put a few steaks out so other folks can follow the loop (it's a real rat's nest of trails up there)

I am probably going to do an after work Ride friday evening if anyone is interested. I may hit the towpath from my house up to the top of the palmer trail and lolly pop loop it down mine site back down the tow path.

The weekend is up in the air on destination but if anyone is looking to get in a good workout let me know!

I will be setting out to do more riding Saturday and Sunday this coming weekend if anyone is interested. Unless the trails are ride-able come Saturday.. Then it will be all on the road again. The weather looks nice!

All this snow has me thinking about summertime weekend rides.

My idea is to post a place you'd really like to check out or return to. We compile a list and see how well we can do with organizing the ride and checking them off in 2010. I was thinking of destinations within about a two-hour driving radius, but let's see what we come up with...

Looks like we'll run out of weekends before we do places to hit.

Since the Lovin Muffin ride has been postponed, I'm thinking adventure ride somewhere....Parkway, IRT, towpath...wherever we can find that has been packed or plowed. Apparently the Parkway has seen a fair amount of XC ski and snowshoe traffic already...might be ridable. Anyone up for it?

I will most likely be doing some road ride through durham this weekend leaving from my house, saturday and Sunday. 98% back roads that will probably still be packed down with some snow.. although with this strong sun who knows! It should be fun! figure 25-35 miles..longer if you want. Not much riding on the flat out here.. Your either climbing or descending! Let me know if your interested.
