Ride stories, planning of rides, anything to do with riding that bike

Hubbard this Thursday

Going to Hubbard this Thursday evening to ride their phenomenal trails.  They have such a great vibe up there, and the post-ride hang-out is very cool -- swimming, fishing, rodeo riding, Hubbard feast and dessert, and just good people.

Jorge "Snapper" Engroba is going up from the Camelback area, too.  I will be leaving the LV at 4:00pm if anyone is interested.  Please consider it -- these guys are awesome, and the trails are, too. You should all get up there at least once this summer.

Wawayanda?

Stealing Don's idea to see if there is any interest in heading up to Wawayanda. Jim and I talked about this like 2 weeks ago. I can't lead a ride at this location, hopefully someone can. In fact it seems that I am not able to lead a ride anywhere including our local trails, go ahead Scott say what you wish. If you have never been to Wawayanda it will not disappoint. There is a cemetery on the ride that is several hundred years old if I am not mistaken. The travel time is about 90 minutes or so from the valley, off route 23 in northern NJ.

Any Interest In A Blue Marsh Ride?

I'm thinking of a trip down to Blue Marsh Lake sometime in the near future, and was wondering if there's any interest in a group ride. Also, what upcoming weekend dates would be good for something like this? Terrain at Blue Marsh is similar to Raystown in being fairly smooth, rolling singletrack along an artificial lake, but lacks those swoopy rollers -- it's not as fun as Raystown, but it is still fast and aerobic fun, and a lot closer.

Park City, UT trail suggestions?

Hola old time friends,

I'm still living large in the general VT area.  Got the totally dope offer to ride Park City for memorial day weekend with a friend.  Does anyone have any suggestions on trails, bike shops to rent from, things to do, friends in the area who might just give a tour, etc.?

6 Mile Run

So I planned on a Sunday 6 Mile Run ride and of course Mother Nature says its going to rain on Saturday, which of course would make 6MR too wet to ride on Sunday. Im tired of playing her game with this place so I'm going to move the ride to tomorrow evening to keep a step ahead of her. My clavicle is still healing so it wont be a fast ride. Time to leave is negotiable but I'd like to keep it around 5pm or before. Any later and we will need lights. Hmmm which isnt a bad thing as 6MR with lights in the dark would be pretty intense actually even at a broken clavicle pace...

Hubbard Thursday

Hoping to get up to Hubbard on Thursday night, May 20th.  Hubbard Thursday nights are an amazing time, and they throw down like no other club I've ever seen.  This is due, in part, to having a full on clubhouse.  It is like Mountain Bike Weekend, every Thursday.

I am most likely going up there that Thursday, and then coming home or staying overnight and driving out to Raystown in the AM.  I will know as it gets closer.

I need someone to ride with "Ride" (Beginner Ride)

Since I can't ride with the big guys, I need to find some other peeps to ride with.  I'm hoping to host a beginner ride.   It won't be a skills clinic. It won't be a fast ride.  I won't hit the technical stuff.  I'm thinking Jordan Park.  Is anyone out there interested?  And if so, do evenings work best?  Weekends?  Weekdays?   Comment here, and we'll see if there's any interest.
