Rides

Ride stories, planning of rides, anything to do with riding that bike

Go long interest?

I am thinking of putting together an 'adventure ride' from Green Lane Park into Philly using the Perkiomen Trail and linking into the Schukyll River Trail. I figure it would be near 100 miles of riding, but its flat, no cars, and we could grab lunch in Manyunk as a nice break. It could be done on MTB, cross, or road bike (probably would want fattish tires) and could be an all-day adventure. Anyone game?

Chatter for Road trippin'

OK folks - In spite of what's going on outside right now the weather is starting to stablize and some of the mtb parks to our east and west are starting to reach their peak condition.

I'm looking to put some travel dates on the calendar.  Anyone else interested in road trippin'??

I've heard some interesting things about Raystown and I could lead a ride at Blue Mtn, NY.  I still want to hit some of the more local goods near/around Jim Thorpe.

Weekend or weekday??  Daytrip or overnight??  June?

Still more chatter for anotherTrexler Tuesday

Ok - let it roll - who can do what time?  Can we get a good group for a 5:45 wheels down? Can anyone make it earlier so we can do a loop first then swing back to the lot to pick up the second crew?

If we can get enough people, we may just have to add another section of trail.

Anyone out there that knows how to get to the roller coaster "trail" - we need to start hitting that.

Wed am ride

Thinking about a ride in the morning after work. 6 Mile Run or maybe Sourlands. 2 completely different sets of trails. 6MR is very smooth twisty flowy and rock free while most of Sourlands is like the boulder trail at Sals. 8am-ish at either trailhead (depending on work and traffic though). Hit me up here if you can make it and have a preference. Will most likely be riding with a couple of friends from nj.
