I'm heading down to Dupont Willmington next Thursday for a 1 hour AM meeting - that leave me with a whole lot of time on my hands. anyone interested to cruise over to White clay with me a fly around a bit?

I can do a carpool down but need to leave early (6:30ish)and you'd need to keep yourself busy for the hour but the travel expenses are on the Man. Otherwise, if you want to use this as an excuse for a sick day, we can meet at White Clay.

I haven't been there so I can't say anything about the pace or length of the ride.

Help me talk Scott into an American Standard ride on Monday afternoon :poke: .

I've been wanting to hit that loop for awhile now and Monday seems as good a as any. The temps are supposed to be in the mid 80's and the only thing their hunting up there now is woodchucks :O . I think the chances of being mistaken for a woodchuck and getting shot are pretty slim so I'm ready to take my chances.

riding bear creek sat 11am-ish. 1st lap is super social pace with a couple of newer riders, then 1 or 2 brisk laps directly after.

I think I remember French Creek being on the VMB Hit List, but I'm not sure. If it is on the list I want to give the heads up that me and 2 of the three John's are heading down there this Sunday July 18.

If anyone's interested in sleeping in a little, come to Moosic this Sunday. The Nature Conservancy is putting on a Blueberry day to explore the new trail by bike or by foot. There will be several rides and hikes going on from the main parking lot. The gate will be open for more parking. The event will start with a little speech at 1pm and the rides and hikes go from there. I think we're up to 15+ miles of singletrack now!
