It is now April and Wednesday is here. Lets ride. Come join us at Jordan Creek Park at the tennis court parking lot at 5:30 every Wednesday for 2 hours of fat-tire fun. This is a fun, casual pace ride that is open to all skill levels.

Spring has returned and that means riding Wednesday nights at Jordan Creek Park with Fitness Central. Come on out and ride the park that everybody knows and loves. We start from the tennis court parking lot at 5:30. This is a fun, casual ride. If the group is big enough, we can split into fast and slow groups. Hopefully the trails will dry out and be good to ride by then.

This is a reminder that we will be having another meeting at the same place as last. The Tannersville Inn at 7pm in the back room of the Inn, regarding Glen park/ Godfrey Ridge McDade trails and the events we spoke about at the first meeting.
I really hope you can attend this meeting regarding trails and our club here in Monroe County. we're doing great leg work to help promote cycling in the area. I know some of you are not able to attend this or any meetings because of where you live. Read more »

Two big VMB trips in one year (so far)!

VMB VP Scott said to me at the end of last year, "we should work on some possible group trips." It's not even March and we have two really cool possibilities!

I'm meeting the VMB treasurer out there mid-week for at least four days of riding.
Still piecing the specifics together. Greg's ridden the area before, but I'm looking forward to a whole new experience!
I'm leaving the trail selections to Greg. I think we're riding somewhere outside Malibu.

The dates are tentative and subject to change, but it's time for a trip to Moab! Or it will be time, in October...

Meeting at The Tannersville Inn (see map below).

As we discussed at the January VMB meeting, a meeting has been scheduled in the Stroudsburg area so all interested parties have an opportunity to learn about, discuss and get involved with the future of Glen Park.

VMB has been supplied with lists of names from Dan Whitehead and Jim Delavalle of potentially interested builders, riders, etc. We are calling each name of these lists to make absolutely sure there is no one left out.

So, some people been talking, Jay, & the local SVB riders, so I'm going ahead to scheduling it. A Lehi Shovel Party -pending the weather for the following week, if they call for significant snowfall for Mon/Tues, this will be cancelled. Meanwhile, if not, the plan is for a crew to start at 7:30am, at the bottom, going into Bones, up Stinger, make a left across the street, up Deer, Up the Jeep trail, head up towards the water tower, make a left down Gateway, make a Left onto South Side Turtle, out to the road. Read more »
