Ride stories, planning of rides, anything to do with riding that bike

Sunday ride reports

Let everybody know what they missed. Well, my ride ended up solo. Ride partner had a granny gear problem, something you need at Bear Creek. So I went it alone, 2 laps, same direction, climbing, then descending, then climbing, along with all the technical, rocky and switchback challenge BC has to offer. Shaded riding protected me from the climbing temps and I ran into 1 other rider, as well as two hikers/joggers. Finished just as my camelback emptied, perfect!

wildwood mt biking

We are down the shore this weekend and brought our bikes. I thought we'd check out Belleplain St Forest. I think read somewhere it had some ok singletrack and well marked trails. I didnt expect much more than flat sandy trails at best. It was worse. Not a hell ride, but most definitely not worth bringing your bikes down. We took the East Creek loop. It was a seriously overgrown flat sandy hiking path with huge unridable and unhikable mud pits just thrown in at random. It was that stinky shore mud too. Way worse than riding thru a pit of jburg horse poop.

Locust Lake Sunday

Anyone interested in doing the LL loop this Sunday. Meet at the Tamaqua BK around 8:00, ride begins at 8:30? It would be awsome to get a nice group together for this ride...its always a good one!

Glenn Park

Is anyone familiar with Glenn Park in Stroudsburg? I used to ride there, but I think it may have a new feel on my new bike Smile Does the club ever go there?
