Ride stories, planning of rides, anything to do with riding that bike

Rays Photos

So the trip went kind of OK except for a little Andrew meets ramp action. He's OK, minor concussion and a banged up knee. He'll be back on the bike in about a week.

Here are some photos form Rays mtb park this past weekend:

Any Interest In A NJ Road Trip?

I'm not ready to post an event yet, just trying to gauge interest...

Does anyone want to ride in central New Jersey, maybe Huber & Hartshorne Parks (near Red Bank) or Allaire State Park (Wall Twp, near Belmar) next Sunday?

We're talking about a two-hour drive from the valley, and maybe 15-20 miles (2-3 hours) of riding. Fast, reasonably nontechnical singletrack, and very twisty, these are great places to practice what Jay taught us about cornering.

Sals Ride-and-Slide on Monday

Will try again Monday at Sals. Same m.o.-mid afternoon start from Dodson (around 2ish).

I was hiking there today and the snow crust layer took a vacation so it will be a little sloppy but should be better than the last time.Even if conditions are bad you can do the downhill from Dodson to Reebs and then bail to the road and city cruise a little.WooHoo!
Beats working! If the city cruise aspect in enacted there will be a few mandatory stops at places like Wired and Tulum. Works for me.

Let's ride this week!

With my departure for the arctic cold of VT and the studious halls of Middlebury just around the corner (in a week and a half!!), I really wanna ride with all you guys! I've met so many wonderful people and really gnarly riders that I'd love to get in one more ride with before I'm gone for who know's how long.

Sals Thursday

Anyone else interesting in riding Thursday? I'm free to ride and the conditions look good so I'm thinking of going out again.
