Monday rides anyone?

Hey VMBer's. I have not been the most active member of this club lately as I have been working 6 days a week and recently married giving me little time to do a lot of riding or trailwork.

That has changed. I am off Monday's and want to get out and ride with more people, more places. If anyone else is off Monday's and wants to do some small daytrips this spring and summer, please let me know. Thanks.

Glen park

Rode there last night with a few friends and the place is rad  Its either up or down for the most part but we didnt see any other people on the trail's once we got away from the lot. Rode up to the top of the power line and headed out from there. Managed 9 miles up there in a hour and half. Some of the stuff looks to have not been ridden much lately and could use a bit of TLC but I was right at home and the trail's have flow to them.

White Clay

Been a long, long, long time since I last logged on this site....

Anyway, I am itching for a White Clay ride...anyone interested?

Could possibly be a weekday, but a weekend day would be best.

Let me know...thanks.

Great day for an early day ride at Nox - Wednesday

Any body interested to take a vacation day (or Dr.'s appointment, car needs breaks, etc) tomorrow for a blast around Nox? There is no way I can make the evening Wednesday ride so the man is going to make up for it so I can ride in the morning.
I may have enough legs for a double loop but can easily get in 15 mile of fast, flowing fun.
I've got to be out of the woods by noon'ish so I'm thinking of a 9 or 10 start but that doesn't mean you can't stay longer and get in another loop.
post, call or text.

Locust emerge!

Get to Rattling Creek if you want to experience the roar of the 17 year locust. Did the Epic Loop with Renee this weekend. As soon as we opened the door in the parking area, we heard the flying critters. Their holes were everywhere along the trail and the trees were covered with the dry shed skins. I have been so lucky to experience these strange creatures 3 times. First, at Shickshinny, Pa. while climbing in an old strip mine, then again on South Mt Lehigh while Mt biking and now again just south of Lykens, Pa. Just 1.5 hours from Allentown, don't miss the ride or the locust!
