Profile Update
Having trouble putting photo in profile - photo size is too large (2.5mb). Tried to crop photo on iPhoto but the cropped file size went UP to 3.2mb. Any ideas?

Trails were dry today. All of the trails are now cleared and ready for you to explore. (except the rolly section) and we have some work next weekend but they are ridable . Enjoy.
Joel Nankman walked the trails at Sals the other day & filled a plastic shopping bag with Power Bar & Gel wrappers. I was rather disappointed with this. So if you are a bar/gel user, please be conscious to stow your wrappers in a secure place til you get home. Keep the trails clean of the evil users!

It's good to have fresh blood. You guys will do great in 2011!
Went for my first serious ride of the season at South Mountain Emmaus. Was going great until a slow motion fall onto a boulder, could not unclip fast enough. Got to see some bone before the blood took over. I love this sport.

Hi All,
We are holding our next track work session this coming Saturday, 3/19.
Time: 10-2:00 p.m.
Our goal is to have the track 100% open by the end of the day. Bring your bike because chances are very good that the track will be ridable.
Thank you,
Bob

Hi I am new to the site and just getting back into MTB... Can't say that I am the best rider out there but I love being on a bike! So I hope to see some of you out there on there trails! Stay safe!

With the recent deluge of rain we received it's best to keep your bike off the trails. But that shouldn't stop you from being on the trail on what will be a beautiful weekend and giving back to the trails you love. You could take a hike on your favorite trail and remove any branches that came down during the recent storm, prune back what will grow into the trail, and just enjoy being outside.
VMB has 2 new trail systems being built for everyones enjoyment.
With the evening temperature going up a bit, I'm looking to do some evening rides in my area. They would start at 8:00PM (I work wacky retail hours) and go until 9:30-10:00PM. We'll riding the D&L Trail, IRT and Whitehall Parkway. Distance will be 15 to 25 miles at a moderate pace, nothing crazy just good steady tempo with a few hills. You will need lights (I have an extra set). Rides would be do able on a hardtail or crossbike. I'm thinking twice a week Tuesday thru Friday for now. Been riding mostly the trainer since Decemeber 1st and I'm ready to be outdoors! Anyone interested?
