Our May Board Meeting was Energizing with lots of activity and Great News.
The 2016 Board is an active bunch and I will try to recount the meeting with my cryptic notes and tell you about our homework assignments also I was able to exercise my board voting privileges.

Treasury Report - we have lots of money for now taxes are paid insurance is renewed, job well done J. Jason also jumped in to integrate IMBA and VMB website, way above my pay grade.

VMB Meeting Minutes 2/29/2016
Andrew followed his outline already posted on the VMB site.
Treasurer report-to be posted. Jason was not available for this meeting.
Money is still being held for Pocono club. Future is still pending.
IMBA updates-Andrew reports that Performance is only are IMBA bike shop. We want to encourage other shops to join IMBA. There are report that other area shop are pledging to support IMBA.
-maybe VMB memberships could accompany a mtb purchase.
-place VMB/ IMBA membership flyers at shops. We have an old brochure now.
Lou Mazzante conducted a nice intro. Discussed new IMBA chapter club status.

Scott laid out an outline of maintenance work to be done.
We will submit four trial work days to Salisbury township. We will add other as necessary.
Nox- same as November meeting.
Trex--no change
Emmaus- Bowman declined to comment.
Patrick (a guest) from Souderton spoke about a trail system possibility in that area. 5 miles possible.

-helps with membership duties and membership development
-Adds IMBA area members to VMB
-IMBA can help with clinics, etc.
Trex Update
-some trails will be affected. Killdozer, etc.
-no restrictions on riding but use common sense. Don’t ride near equipment, etc.
-100 acres to be cleared of autumn olive by year’s end
-200 total acres to be remedied-the rest by spring
-grasses will then be planted and a series of three burned conducted.
Sorry if I missed this somewhere, I did look on the Calendar and found no information.
