Nockimixon open this Saturday and Sunday only
Just read the Ridenox Facebook page and they are going to allow Fatbike riding this Saturday and Sunday only. Then Monday its back to being closed. Please pass it along. Have fun and dress warm.

Trail Closed for Hunting (First day of Achery Buck)

Park management has asked that the trails be closed to mountain biking on the following dates for hunting. Please respect the trails and do not ride them on these dates. Thank you for your cooperation.

Found knife 05.2012
Found a black folding knife on the Hammer trail near the log bridges if anyone lost it and is looking for it. It'll probably end up getting donated to the trail crew eventually if it's not claimed.

Official word on the bump track bypass?
So, out of curiousity, what's the official word on the "legitness" of the bump track bypass?
I believe there were plans to put in a bypass for those who don't like it (I'm personally not a huge fan) and the current bypass looks pretty official (as opposed to just ridden often) but someone has dragged some small branches across it. Again, the "trail hiding" work doesn't look to be official, it just looks like one person dragged some junk onto the bypass trails.

Strava segments in Nox
Dunno how many folks here are on Strava, but Grace and I have been having some fun with it lately. Not only is it a good training tool (to see how you've been progressing with times on segments) but it's fun to see how you stack up to the other folks riding the same segments, and sometimes make a run at getting a KOM.

Has anyone heard any wisperings of resuming the excellent night rides from last year? Did the park give us permission?
