The real reason Washie Crashburn withdrew her nomination

Because where would we be without trails?

I recently requested and received the document that IMBA uses for assessment of the trail centers that they promote. As was discussed at the most recent meeting, Reading, PA is a Bronze Level IMBA Trail Center.
In my mind, it makes the most sense to have the Lehigh Valley as a whole become a trail center. That would mean all of VMB's territory should be included when we think about the trail center criteria. I think (someone say so if I'm wrong) that would mean Trex to Nox and everything in between, and it would have to include Blue Mountain Bike Park and Jacobsburg State Park as well.
Posting this in case anyone else gets a similar notice- got an email from IMBA saying my membership is about to expire (I didn't have an IMBA membership prior to VMB signing up with them).
Do I renew directly with them? I don't think my VMB membership renews for like 6 months
As a follow up to one of the items discussed at the meeting....
Just posting this here in case it helps them, I know a lot of you ride 'moochy and Jungle Habitat and stuff a lot, and their short track race series is fun! Maybe consider helping them out, looks like they are in a tight spot with paid members. It's only $25!
Can we please have the name and some contact info for our IMBA rep?
Not sure if anyone still reads posts on vmb, but...
Who is in charge of this project? This is awesome! I can't find any info on it, other than a blurb from this site in 2012 and the recent posts this week showing the track design, circulated by Bear Creek and "Friends for the Protection of Lower Macungie" on Facebook.
Fellow Bikers,
I have a home in Jim Thorpe and know that many of you ride the game lands trails. There's a proposal before the Game Commission to create/extend the opportunity to buy a permit to ride the game lands. Please take a moment to send comments.
