Schedule:
Saturday Feb.16
-We are going to try to leave at 5:30-6:00pm
-get to the Holiday Inn Cleveland between 12:00-1:00am
Sunday Feb.17
-Sleep and Wake up when the park opens 9:00
-Ride 9:00am-11:00pm (get some Lunch in between sometime)
-11:30pm go back to the hotel
Monday Feb.18
-Get Breakfast then start the drive home.
will be there between 4:00 - when it gets dark
I'll be heading over to the Lehigh Parkway today around 3:45-4:00 to do a loop or two and some of the side singletrack stuff. If anyone wants to come on over you're more than welcome! I'm parking by the covered bridge.
The weather on Sun. is looking like a snow then ice then rain event. So I'm thinking about hitting Sals during that snow portion, nothing like riding in falling snow if you haven't been there/done that.
I'm thinking around 9 or 9:30 depending on how the hour-by-hour shapes up for this.
Anyone up for a night ride tonight? I'm off work at 5:00 and will probably be riding either Lehigh or Sals tonight by 6 to 6:15ish start. Reply or call my cell if interested.

So I was riding South Mtn Emmaus yesterday afternoon amidst gun shots in the distance. No worries, nothing new being from a similar hunting crazed state (Michigan). I did notice that near the top of the trail, probably less then a mile before the short downhill run on the service road for the power lines that the trail was blocked off. A few young but healthy trees were bent over to block the trail, something that was obviously done by a person. Are there parts of the trail that we shouldn't be riding on? Does anyone know about this?
I am trying to plan a weekend ride. Ride Saturday camp Saturday night, ride Sunday, get picked up and go home. The problem is I don't really know the trails around the area and do not know where there is a long enough trail to do this. Any suggestions??

Not sure on dates monday is probly the best
any body around for South Mountain Emmaus, Lehigh or both? maybe lehigh in the day light and emmaus in the dark?
