I may be doing a WISS ride this weekend. I heard it's ridable as long as its frozen since its pretty well tracked out now. Some of the steep climbs of course prob would be an issue though.
Looks like we have a good size group going out for Womans Weekend from Jersey. Any PA intrest besides Jimmy White Shoes????

Anyone remember back a few years ago we had some significantly thick ice that was crazy fun to ride. It was thick enought that you didn't break through and could essentially ride on top of the snow  What's the guess for tomorrow? Think the cold temps forecast for tonight will bring back those dreamy good conditions??
I've got some serious cabin fever - anyone feel like trying to get out - I was toying with the idea of Trexler but Sals may be a lot more fun.

I am planning on doing an SMB ride Saturday around 11am if anyone is interested. Then I have to work on party prep.
The man cut me loose a day early so I've got some time to ride Thursday. anyone feel like a christmas cookie cruise around Sals sometime in the morning?? I'm pretty flexible on the time but the early we go the better the conditions. I'm sure the warm weather will have the trails a bit squirly by late afternoon. I wouldn't mind an 8;00 start or maybe earlier to take advantage of the grippy frozen ground.
I could be talked in South Mtn. Bethlehem but I'm looking for someplace other that Emmaus or Bear Creek.
Any one interested to burn off some holiday cheer?

So we were out riding Sals for about 2.5 hrs and in that period I got to see Lori out Trail running, a PUG on it's inaugural ride, a herd of what I first though were Santa's reindeer getting in some ride time but instead were a bunch of festive bikers rolling through from Emmaus and Eric Rigler who managed to hang with us for the second half of the ride after recovering from sickness and he managed to keep down the ham and eggs he had for breakfast... Oh and it started to snow half way through which made the rest of the ride make me feel like I was 12 again!
Last week there were four of us and we only saw one dude out there riding. So, we're tossing around the idea of riding Dec 26. I might have to visit family, but if I don't and it doesn't snow, who's in for a casual ride at noon? Post up if you're considering it.
Merry Christmas!
Boys are allowed, but the chics set the pace.
I'm home on break. Haven't been on the bike since the week before Thanksgiving...Vermont went super cold and I just wasn't ready for it (brrrrr, single digits). I need to get off my keister and start pedaling again since I've been joking around since the end o race season.
Down for any distance, any pace, and maybe anywhere. Give me a few rides to get my rear in gear though, I'll suffer and hack a bit at first. Guess I should go tune her up too...those broken spokes, flats, and shiftless shifters just aren't going to fix themselves.
