Riding The World Cup XC Lead-Moto
By Jay de Jesus
Cresting Feed Zone 2 at the top of the course, I look back for the race leaders as I’m about to drop into the downhill. All I could think was “perfect lap, perfect lines, no mistakes -- don’t freaking crash…” Lap 14 of 15 on the day and I was bonking heavily, clipping trees with my knuckles and really weak in my arms. By the time I reached the bottom, the race leaders were already charging down upon me, even though I’ve given them a 40 second lead. Deep breath and one lap to go...
Anyone know the closest trail system near New Milford, PA. I am staying at a buddy's cabin outside of New Milford and want to know if there is anything in the near proximity to hit. Would Moosic be the closest?
Good Ole Beefsteak Bernie is looking for someone to show him around at Nox this weekend.
I'll be heading up to Promised Land.

that's an old joke but the PPRAC is better than ever. The Pennsylvania Perimeter Ride Against Cancer is a 500 mile ride every two years that raises money for the American Cancer Society and Dream, Come True.
This will be my sixth ride and we can always use more donations. Here's my page http://main.acsevents.org/goto/ericrigler
The PPRAC page is here www.PPRAC.net
I won't dive into all of the reasons I do this ride but I will say that 95% OF WHAT IS RAISED GOES TO OUR CHARITIES! This is one amazing statistic.

Here's your chance to get a real Belgian brew and help out PPRAC. This is the Pennsylvania Perimeter Ride Against Cancer--it's coming up in a few weeks. I'm a rider too. Check www.PPRAC.net
Here's a couple clips from the Glen. Lovin the XC Freeride loops that came together this year. Miles and Miles and Miles......

I have mentioned this particular disease a few time to others and typically get the same reaction. Not too many people have heard of this one so I pass this info on to others just to add more paranoia about ticks and how important it is not ignore symptoms.
Getting Lyme
Babesia: Common Lyme Disease Co-infection
Babeisiosis, or infection with the protozoan Babesia, has been around for hundreds of years in wild and domestic animals such as cattle, horses, and sheep. But it wasn’t identified in humans until the 1960’s.
Anyone ever ridden in Cooperstown? I'm heading up there this weekend and while my friends are at the Hall of Fame i figured i'd try to ride since i've already been to the HOF twice. I'm looking for something right in town that i can do a quick ride and get back before they do. Thanks.
