Doesn't fit in the other forums, post it here

Anyone have a trail dog?

We have a medium-sized mutt who appears to be partly herding dog of some sort; she's 6 and has tons of energy but she's not getting as much exercise these days since our son arrived.

She seems like a good candidate, but is there anything special I need to worry about? Aside from keeping her hydrated and not runnning her over. I was thinking of Sals and SME; I dunno if she'd keep up on sustained fast sections like at Trex, but not sure.

Go get fit.

Before you spend more money upgrading your bikes, you should go get fit to your bike. John at Cutter's Bike Shop fit my mountain bike to me back in early Spring. I just went back for my follow-up on the MTB and he also did the fit on my 'cross bike. He uses the Specialized BG (Body Geometry) program. He does a full physical appraisal and then goes to work on fitting your bike to your body. With some cleat adjustment and using shims in the foot bed of my shoe he corrected a pedaling issue I have had since my knee surgery back in 2008.

HELP - Lost my forearm pads at Salisbury

Hey all... did a nice ride at Walking Purchase today. I hit the trail head at the lower lot and climbed up to the blue trail and eventually made it back to the red trail. Sometime before the red trail crosses over Constitution Rd., my Fox Elbow/Forearm guards must've ejected from my camelback... they are pretty old and a little beat up but they have saved my arms A LOT and if anyone comes across them, it would be great if you could collect and email me. rtyska@gmail.com

Thanks!
