Yep, my company ceased there HIV program yesterday, which in turn left me and 75% of the company out of a job.
What do you do when you get news like this? Shit....you head to sals.
After receiving the bad news directly from the CEO (the former white house advisor on AIDS Policy)a few of my newly separated brothers in arms made our way to the Rockbottom brewery in the KOP mall to toast our time togther..the company didnt rush us out but we opted to get out of there as fast as possible, there were a lot of people who didn't take the news so well and we needed to give them some space.
I may be bringing some of the Mountain Top guys down again for another Salisbury and Lehigh ride, and Downingtown Ted is coming. Anyone interested? It will probably be around 10:00am or so and be pretty fast. We'll see what the weather holds.
I read this a few years ago....its a good read
That Which Does Not Kill Me Makes Me Stranger
By DANIEL COYLE
Jure Robic, the Slovene soldier who might be the world's best
ultra-endurance athlete, lives in a small fifth-floor apartment near the
railroad tracks in the town of Koroska Bela. By nature and vocation, Robic
is a sober-minded person, but when he appears at his doorway, he is smiling.
Not a standard-issue smile, but a wild and fidgety grin, as if he were
trying to contain some huge and mysterious secret.
Hey John!
I sent you a personal message when I noticed that you were logged in here. Just in case you didn't notice the message, just wanted to say good to "see" you and hope we can all get together for a ride sometime soon!
Anybody have any experience with any good ones? Do they practice ART(active release)? What is that? Anybody know? I got problems!
