Doesn't fit in the other forums, post it here

Never before

My regular riding partners are Johnny and John. Usually John is in the front on every climb. He's strong on all climbs on his Fuel. My cousin Johnny is a stong climber too and almost always beats me to the top.

So, I am most often the one that gets to the top last and most certainly is the most winded at the end of the ride, because of trying to stay on the back.

Expect posting funkiness for a little while.

There was a brief server outage Wed. and the clock was off quite a bit when they brought it back up. They just fixed it (although still off 1 hour) so some posts will be marked as new for a while until everything gets caught up (@7:35 pm Thurs.). Don't trust number of users currently online either, artificially inflated for same reason.

Tales from the Unemployed.....

So there I was....no shit....chillin in my pad...drinkin some beers. It was a long day of Blasting the resume out, followed by some light roadie miles...as I crack open another beverage the phone rings, the guy on the other end Speaks very bad english, but is very interested in my skill sets....I have no idea what his name is......thats how bad it was, fortunately he sends me a follow up email..on the phone he says he cant fly me out, but if I am ever in town, to stop by....at least I got the network going.

No Dab, No stop

It all started with my 10 year anniversary bonus.

I had been lusting for a new frame for some time, but I was content to just enjoy the new fork for a while. The bonus changed all that in a heartbeat.

Thursday was the day of purchase which, as many of you know, was not an easy decision for me. After about an hour at SVB I finally make my choice (with some help) and anticipate the pick up on Saturday.

Sometimes you don't need to win to taste victory

Last year I made my racing day view at the Escape from Granouge. I would like to tell you that I rode my ass off and made the podium after a hard winter of Training....but thats not what happened. I got spanked. It wasn't so much that I was physically unprepared, but I was not mentally ready to race. I remember hitting a difficult section crashing or whatever while i was under some physical stress, then allowing 10 riders to pass as I remounted the bike.
