Lupine light demos

I now have all three lines of Lupine lights found on gretnabikes.com. If there is any interest in their lighting i will be doing night rides for any ability level at location of your choice, with a light of your choice till the new year!!! If you like the light they are 20% off till the new year for paid members!!! I've done twenty-one solo 24hr races and won 2 national 24hr series(bragging only for the lights) with these lights in all conditions and never had an issue with lupines. e-mail me if interested xxxrplxxx@fastmail.fm

Make it a movie night?

If anyone is interested in doing something other than ride a bike, here is a suggestion.

I have a high school classmate (Emmaus) who is a local film maker. His name is Zeke (real name Jaime) Zelker and he is premiering his new film "In Search Of" at the Rave theatre down at the Promenade Shops.

From what I hear about the movie it is quite controversial due to the adult content. Much of it was filmed here in the Valley. It only runs through Thursday night. I am planning on seeing it Thursday with another HS classmate of mine.

Retro Bike

I am going to build up one of my older EWR's (first E-Motion Frame, 1994 prototype) into a "retro ride" and possibly doing Retro Rides. Anyone interested in doing the same? I think it is a cool window to the past that we could have fun with. There is a lot of old stuff floating around out there, and a lot of interest. Check out the Vintage/Retro forum on MTBR for example.

Thoughts?

2008 has been a great year for VMB

The enthusiasm, participation and membership have all grown beyond expectation. Thank you for your support and congratulations on making a lot of great things happen in our mountain biking community.

Along with growth, comes the need for a little more structure to help keep the peace. With that in mind we plan to add a Terms of Use to this site which registered users will be required to accept to participate in this site. We feel everyone will be better served with these simple guidelines of use.

Congrats!!! Jim D.

Congrats to Jim Dellavalle for placing 9th in last week's Ray's - Red Bull Inside/Out event. The race was at Ray's Indoor Mtb. Park in Cleveland, Ohio (this place would be a great VMB field trip). Also local Reading junior racer Neko Mullally was 4th.

Building backyard fun

So, after a couple of good rides this weekend, my brother and husband decided that they needed to build some backyard fun stuff. We have two acres up here in E. Stroudsburg, and as anyone who has ever tried to landscape anything in this area knows...it's rocks rocks roots rocks. Can't plant grass, so what else to do with it all?????

So, they built a little bridge yesterday, which will be just the beginning of a little MTB oasis/skills practice right here in our yard. I will post the grand opening when it happens.

Mflag and Jman

Thanks again for the tour around Jordan today. We had a great time. Sorry I'm so slow..gimme a few more shots there and I'll keep up.

Definitely learned alot. Lots more skills stuff at Jordan. Got some great pics too!

After doing 10 miles yesterday at Jacobsburg, and 6 miles today at Jordan...I'm exhausted, sore, and ready to do it again soon!! Smile

Politics

This is not the forum for it. We're not interested in your political views unless it relates to cycling. I already deleted one political post and I'll continue to do so if there are any more.
