so i just got my first bike, a 2000 GT saddleback for 60$...i know its nothing special, but it was enough to get me rolling...i figgure once i get a taste ill man up and buy a real bike...anyways some parts are rusted out/beat, so im looking for anything you have laying around

the front brake is broken...i dunno what i gotta do here a wire tie has it working right now hahah...bikepedia says "ProMax linear-pull brakes, Shimano Altus C90 levers" for brakeset
also the rear brakes might be about to go

id like some new grips and bar ends

Actually not for sale, not even WTB as I'd like this for free if possible! Or really cheap.

I am trying to get a few friends back on bikes for some towpath/recreational fun.
One has an old Fisher w/ a suspension fork lacking internals. Nada. Nothing but hollow legs. Where do things like this go? Who knows.

Anyone have anything around collecting dust? Not picky at all, but functioning is nice. I had a decent Manitou from yesteryear but donated it (and a bunch of other stuff) to CAT over the years. Perhaps karma will return w/ something...
