Parking
Please do not park along Tower Road or Fink Road. It is creating hazards for emergency vehicles and other vehicles.
The park is working with Valley Mountain Bikers Club to expand the parking lot at the end of Tower Road.

Per Kennys request here's some more footage from The Nox. This was a two lap day my first with my snowboard lid to film. the second lap seemed much shorter and easier. Way out in front is Chainsaw then Slimble. Nice day
Dedicated to Kenny and the Nox crew. Fun flowy trails
I know I asked this earlier but I can't find the thread-
Is it huge sections, or is it still worthwhile to drive an hour to get there? Can you do a full loop (We did like a figure 8 pattern last time of both the top and bottom loops) or do you get turned back at some point?
A friend is coming up from Havertown and we were going to take him to either Nox or Jordan, he hasn't ridden a bike in years, trying to figure out where to go.
We have permission to build "puncheons" (low boardwalks) at Nox for the really wet areas. Keep your eye out for recycled decks, stringers, etc.
Hello All,
I was wondering if there will be weekly rides at Nockamixon. I know there are still a few things that need to be tweaked at Nockamixon but what are your thoughts.
Thanks
Kevin Boyle
Wow! What a ride. Fast flowy tight single track with constant elevation changes. You never stop pedaling. It was truly a unique experience that once you have you will want to do it over and over again. I can only imagine how fast you will roll through the trails as they get ridden more. Add this trail to your rotation and you wont be sorry. Thanks to Kenny and crew for all the hard work, it was nice being able to experience the fruit of your blood, sweat and beers :cornut:
Flagging of the new trails and reroutes of the existing trail along the lake has begun. Dan Hudson from Trail Solutions and I have been out a few times flagging possible trail corridors, these flagged trails are by no means the final trail and I'm sure they will be tweaked as they are revisited.
Trail Solutions is looking for a GPS (GPX format) of the existing trails on the eastern side of the lake. Kenny has some GPS capacity but if anyone can help....
From Dan:
Do you have a share-able GPS track of the alignments you'all have already put in the woods? Would be interesting to see them on a map and be good homework before making the next visit. Garmin GPX format is great. Thanks --Dan

I just got an email today from Rich at Trail Solutions. They are finishing up some stuff but their next target will be a brand spanking new beginner/intermediate trail system at Nockamixon SP, complete with blessings from the Park Manager.
They will be looking to start flagging within the month, weather permitting. Public events will be posted on here as well as: nockamixon-state-park-volunteers@googlegroups.com
Pass the word --- we will need plenty of volunteers.
