Jordan Trail work

Hi all, just seeing if there is any interest in doing some trail work at Jordan come early mid April. The main project I am planing is a trail reroute at the end of the creek trail where the storm drain dumps all the water across and down the trail. The idea here would be swing the trail out to the right, go over the wash out with a bridge(thats allready laying there) and then bend the trail back to the origanal trail down a ways. I all have a great line planed out, just need to get it done. Let me know what you all think.

MIA

I was riding with Marty Ward on Sunday Morning, after his spare tube fell out of his saddle bag, he realized that all the contents were MIA. If you find any tools & a derailleur hanger, still in the bag, Please send it down to SVBIkes & make Marty a happy guy

Blue Marsh

I was over at Blue Marsh last Saturday for the 1st time and started at the main boat ramp on the south end of the lake and BARELY made the loop around the lake clockwise(crossing at church rd). I didn't see one person doing the lake clockwise, everyone was doing the lake counterclockwise. Is it just preferred by most to do the loop counterclockwise? Less up hills going counterclockwise or something? Thanks.

St. Patty's Day 2009

So, it's St. Patty's Day 2009, and I'm riding my bike to go meet some friends and share in some Irish cheer, and most importantly, to check out all the guys in kilts. It's not everyday you get to see guys in skirts.

Of course I'm wearing my standard St. Patty's Day gear - you know the kind: green shamrock bikini, green helmut, green gloves and all those green beads they hand out on this very special day. Granted it's a little chilly going downhill at 20 mph, but it's St. Patty's Day and wth, why not?

Thanks for the Trail makers!!!

Hey,

Just want to say a huge "thank you" to those of you who took the time and effort to hang those most EXCELLENT new trail markers at Sal's.
OMG, they are SOOOOOOOOOO easy to spot.:thumbsup"

Easy enough to spot that someone like me, who is HORRIBLE directionally challenged :out: and can NOT read a map to save my life, :jawdrop: would feel ok going their to ride now during the day and know that from Dodson, I can at least get to Constitution and if I had to, get back to Dodson from there. I would not have even remotely considered it last year.
