My wife recently expressed a desire to pick up a bike because she can't keep up on foot anymore with our 2 1/2 year old on his Specialized Hotwalk. I started looking at new stuff but ultimately we figured we should go the cheap route.

I'm currently eyeing up a step-thru Trek Mountain 800 of like maybe year 2000 vintage on Craigslist, for like $100. Anyone have anything like that?

Ideally would like to keep it under $250. 26" wheels ideal but would entertain the idea of 700c.

She's, um, 5'6-8"? Jeez I should know that. Somewhere in there.

I have two pairs of Specialized Women's MTB shoes that I am selling. Both pairs are Euro 39/US 8.5 The first is I think a 2010 Pro or S-Works Mtn shoe, can't remember. They are silver and light blue with carbon sole. These are VERY lightly used, not much wear at all. Think they went for $185, want $55. Second is a 2010 Motodiva, I road these for a whole season and they have some normal wear but still in great shape overall. They retailed for $140, want $45.
