Sometime this week I'm gonna get over to SME and look around at the terrain to try and locate the best area for a new trail. Since everything looks like a solid sheet of ice at the moment, the end of the week will probably be best. Anyone who wants to check this out let me know.
Your happy VMB trailcrew has been active in the last few weeks working with the Wildlands Conservancy to redesign a crucial trail over at South Mountain Emmaus. Since we're getting good at building sustainable trails the Wildlands folks asked for our help getting a sustainable trail up onto the mountain , avoiding all the muddy areas while we are at it.
Just some shots I took back in October while hiking when it was too wet to ride.
