Our Mission: Valley Mountain Bikers (VMB) is dedicated to building, enhancing, and advocating for mountain bike trails. We promote volunteerism and land conservation, support a thriving and diverse mountain bike community in the Lehigh and Delaware Valleys, and work to increase access to mountain bikingi for everyone.

F​ounded in 2005, VMB is a chapter of the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA). We are a fully insured (501)c3 non-profit. with strong working partnerships with PA DCNR, Lehigh County, Salisbury Township, and The Wildlands Conservancy.

What We Do

Each year, VMB members contribute more than 2,000 hours of hands-on volunteer trail work.

Our volunteers actively maintain over 60 miles of shared-use trails throughout the region.

VMB supports a community of 250+ active paid members and reaches more than 5,000 local trail users through its social channels.

VMB is committed to delivering outstanding trail experiences while strengthening communities through mountain biking.

VMB organizes two of the region’s largest mountain bike races: the Steel City Enduro at Salisbury Walking Purchase Park and TrexxxFest at Trexler Nature Preserve.

Volunteers follow best-in-class, sustainable trail design and construction practices developed by the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA).

Through youth programs, family rides, Take-a-Kid Mountain Biking Days, and support of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling League, VMB introduces over 100 kids to mountain biking annually.

VMB has built and maintains major trail systems at Lake Nockamixon, Salisbury Walking Purchase Park, and Trexler Nature Preserve, and also serves as trail stewards at Jacobsburg State Park, Jordan Creek Park, and the Robert Rodale Preserve on South Mountain.

Since 2005, VMB volunteers have helped create and maintain over 60 miles of multi-use trails.

Our Annual Events

Valley Mountain Bikers hosts a series of signature events each year that highlight the region’s best trails and bring our riding community together. From fast, technical races to unique after-dark experiences, there’s something for every type of rider.
