Monacaski Park

i've been wanting to get a xc setup for a few years. with wednesdays storm i figure the snow will be around for a while and pulled the trigger on a full setup right after my session at blue that morning. i had been looking on ebay and craigs list for a while for a cheap rossi evo trail type ski - touring/light backcountry dims with no luck until i found some cheap whitewood skis complete - dims are 68-60-65 with NNN binders/boots. they arrived friday, waxed 'em up and set out from home along the rr tracks after my staurday morning blue ski. Cut a track saturday afternoon along the rr tarcks from macad rd to illicks mill.

got even better sunday with some more skier and snowshoe traffic
