Ride Allamuchy and the Patriots' Path Council of the BSA present the areas first youth mountain biking series! Races take place at the Mt. Allamuchy Scout Reservation located in the center of the best singletrack in New Jersey! The course will be 1-1.5 miles with entrants completeing different numbers of laps based on age. The 5-6 year old racers will do multiple laps on the lower part of the course. The course will offer challenges typical of adult mtb races but will be beginner friendly and rideable with almost any bike with knobby tires. A mountain bike is best of course!
Event sponsor Marty's Reliable Bicycles will be on hand for bike support and bike safety checks. Awards will be handed out after each category with medals and swag for top 3 finishers.
There will be day of registration that will close 15 minutes before the start. Start times are approxiamate so arrive early and get some practice laps in. Parents are encouraged to volunteer as course marshalls. Its a great way to see the race and keep our young racers safe!
