I cracked the Mach5 Frame...
I finally cracked the MACH 5 frame.. So I was at the starting line of the race when Dan saw the crack in my top tube. Thinking back after the race when Jay told me the not so nice outcomes of a frame coming apart mid ride I probably should not have raced but the adrenaline was already flowing so there was no stopping. Each Mile that past I saw the crack getting bigger and bigger and I knew I wasn’t going to take it easy so it came down to whatever happens.

more ticks at SALS / new anti-tick treatment trials
So I found a deer tick on my leg at sals after riding today. No biggie I found it got it off everything is OK. I started to think after a few beers.. if frontline is safe enough for our pets.. It must be safe enough for us.. no??? So I am opening up a new drug trials program to all willing volunteers. Unfortunately we are way to under funded to pay your efforts in cash but I believe a few beers would be doable for your efforts. The process is simple, test for a month the feasibility of frontline and riding at sals and report your interaction with ticks.
MicroBrew's Swap
Ok, I was at shangy's yesterday getting some beer. There are soooooo many good beers I want to try. I know allot of other people go in and each buy a case of beer and then swap so each person gets a nice sampler. I got 4 people as of now who would be in on getting a case of beer and swapping. The more people the better the selection we can get. Let me know if anyone is interested! we can go from there in coordinating which beers we will each get and where we can all meetup to build our sampler cases out.

Static versus Active/Dynamic stretching
Interesting article for all of you out there who stretch.
When looking at an athlete's involvement in sport, one must take into consideration the sport for which the athlete is training. Generally, sports fall into two categories: power or endurance sports. Any length of a triathlon is considered an endurance sport, even the shorter sprints.
